Janine Swenson, Germination Analyst

janine

Hello!

Hi my name is Janine Swenson and I am one of the newest accredited germination analysts at 20/20 Seed Labs Inc. Shortly after graduating in 2010 from the University of Alberta Agriculture program, I began training here at 20/20 Seed Labs. Thus far the training and experience I have received at the lab has provided me with an abundance of knowledge and has greatly revealed my passion for the Ag Industry.
Among the various crop kinds that I have analyzed, the seedling shown in the picture was one of my favorites. The broad bean is one of the most ancient plants in cultivation and one of the easiest to grow. These beans were grown as early as 6000 BC for human consumption and continue to be used in some parts of the world. I personally enjoyed planting and analyzing this particular sample as it is by far the largest crop type that I have seen in the lab. As the season begins to get busy I look forward to seeing what new types of crops and germination issues we will get to tackle this yeay name is Janine Swenson and I am one of the newest accredited germination analysts at 20/20 Seed Labs Inc.
